A bit about me

I've recently complete my final year at Kingston University where I recieved a First Class BSc degree with honours in Computer Science: Digital Imaging. My time at Kingston also included a study abroad semester at The University of North Carolina, Charlotte, USA.

During university I spent a year working at the National Physical Laboratory (NPL) during my placement year, and have since gone back to work there full time as a New Media Specialist after being sponsored by them during my final year at university.

Interests & Skills

Photography

I own and use a Canon 7D digital SLR camera, along with an assortment of lenses to use in different environments and conditions to get the photos I want, be that landscape, portrait, event photography or anything else I may end up capturing on a day to day basis.

During the past couple of years I have had my photos published on a variety of websites as well as several times within NPL's internal monthly newsletter. Individual photos are also avaliable to purchase; please use the form on the right for more information.

I am avaliable for shoots across the entire of Central, Southern, South East & South West England. Depending on the shoot, I may be willing to travel further.

Web Design

I started creating websites in 2001, and since then have designed and coded a wide selection of sites, from personal works to small commerical sites, and for large corporate organisations.

The sites I create conform to the latest web and accessibility standards and are written using a selection of different languages and methodologies which I have learnt over the past few years;

• XHTML, CSS, PHP, MySQL, XML, Javascript, jQuery

I am also experienced with SEO techniques and methods, as well as brand development, marketting and internet advertising.

I have extensive experience with a number of content management systems which I have worked with including;
