Last weekend saw the Autosport International motorshow make its way to the NEC in Birmingham which was packed full of motorsport-goodness. From rally cars to the entire 2009 F1 lineup, there was certainly plenty to do, especially when the show was also being graced by several big name motorsport celebrities including Martin Brundle, Richard Nobel and current F1 World Champion Jenson Button.
Check out some of the photos which I took below;

This past weekend saw me head back to the NEC in Birmingham for another day of the Carole Nash NEC Bike Show. This time around it was better than before! Having been once already, I knew exactly what to expect, and where all the good stands and exhibits were. Again it was a great day, and well worth the entrance fee and the 1hr 40min drive up to Birmingham to visit.

To check out some of the new photos I’ve taken, you can view them in the same album as the previous week by clicking here.

I have also seperated my new shots of models Stephanie Inglis and Amy Dargan into their own album, which you can view by clicking here.
Friday saw the grand opening of NPL’s sponsored exhibit at The National Museum of Computing at Bletchley Park about ‘The Technology of the Internet’. I was there to record the event which saw past scientists who worked on developing the internet meet up again like an old school reunion, many of whom hadn’t seen each other in decades.
It was a great day, and the exhibit, along with the museum itself, is definately worth a visit if you happen to be at Bletchley Park! Below are a few photos from the day;

On Saturday, after waking up at just gone 6 in the morning and getting ready off I set for the 2 hour journey to Birmingham to visit the Carole Nash International Bike Show at the NEC, arriving perfectly in time to be one of the first to enter the show.
The event promised to show the latest bikes and be a great day, and it certainly didn’t dissapoint. There was plenty to do and explore with 5 halls of the NEC crammed full of stands and attractions. All in all I was there for pretty much most of the day, walking around taking snaps of everything which was going on.

Some of the larger companies such as BMW, Suzuki, Kawasaki and Triumph all had very impressive stands showing off their complete range of bikes and latest models. Of course there were also the show girls around the event either posing on bikes or handing out fliers.

The Carole Nash stand featured this great looking bike below, with a transparent fuel tank and little body work, you could see the inner workings of the bike fantastically, and it looked amazing!

All in all it was a great show, with a high probability that we’ll make a further trip down next weekend before the event wraps up to get a few more photos, so watch this space! But for now, remember you can view the photos I took from Saturday at the gallery by clicking here.
Last Sunday I had the pleasure of attending the Leeds Castle Fireworks display in Kent. It was a stroke of luck that I was even able to attend as I only found out the event was taking place a few days prior to the date and with tickets selling out fast quickly snapped them up.
With thanks to Google Maps earlier in the day, and arriving with plenty of time before the fireworks were due to begin, I set up my equipment in a prime spot on the banks of the moat of the castle. Soon enough, more and more people stood around waiting for the display to begin, and when it did – wow – I can honestly say it was the best fireworks display I had ever been too.
The display lasted a good 30 minutes and was a good mix of pyrotechnics, with not just fireworks but also lights, a laser beam and flames all to the sound of music being blasted from the castle.
You can view the all of photos I took in the gallery.
