Here comes an odd post, but oh wells, after going AMF tonight, I thought I would have a quick go on the teddy - grabbing machine, after winning on the fruit machines, and with all luck - I won one! So, before we headed off home, we decided to take some snaps of Teddy’s first ever trip - to AMF!

Well, today was indeed my 18th birthday, and with it, my first exam today too, an AS British History re-take, even though I passed last time, I thought it would give me a chance to up my grade a bit… but anyways, it all starts off with me, and two others from my class not actually being listed as being in the exam… but after ten minutes, when everyone else had started… they seemed to be able to sort us out. It went ok, questions were fine, even when I had my history teacher behind me reading what I was writing, and then jokingly whisper that if I failed, he would kill me… hehe…
“Hello, I’m a policeman” is what I was greeted to upon the other day after returning from an interesting trip to Newton Abbot where I was witness to a prat driver refusing to take no for an answer when there was someone injured lying on the road, and still attempting to drive around them, which was quite amusing (the arogance of the driver that is, not the incident which had occured). But, I’m getting ahead of myself. The policeman wasn’t to do about that, but a house fire which had occured the previous night up my road. Now, I don’t know why a policeman in full uniform had to verify he was one, but nevertheless, it was to see if we had seen anyone suspicious in our road at about 2-3am the night before… something I had to say I didn’t, as I don’t often watch my street at 2am on the lookout for suspicious activities taking place…
Onto more kitten news! Since last week, the mum kitten has been neutered, but my other cat, today of all days, also had kittens - five of them, four of them being black, and one tabby, I’ll as last time, post some photos in due course.
Barclays seem to be serial card senders for me after being sent three different new debit cards… the first came a few weeks back, just a standard chip & pin card, replacing my older one… but with the wrong title before my name, so I asked them to change it… and, they did, sending me a 2nd last week with the correct full name. After coming home today, I had another one waiting for me - exactly same as the last, but they’ve all got different numbers and such, so now I’m going to have to contact them to find out which one I can use without being attacked by a vicious team of anti-fraud squad members by mistake or something…
Over the past few weeks, whenever someone has asked me how I am, I simply always replied with ‘Fine’, its just easier, but, it got me thinking how it really is just the easy way of getting out of the question. No explanation, no nothing. Even on a couple occasions when stuff isn’t always fine, it just saves on the hastle of explaining everything… So, the thing I was thinking about really was, yea, everyone can say these things, they may act fine, but, are they really? Interesting concept to think about really…
Onto project news, and filming and editing of a short video to showthe PBS remote control car is done! It’s been posted in the Film section since June 1st, and since then (as of 10pm June 6th) the amount of bandwidth (downloaded content) from my site is seven times higher than the entire month of May, in only 6 days! The MTS filming task is still taking place, but you can watch updates, again on the film page.

Well, here we are again. Let me start by saying that I passed my driving test yesterday, first time, with 10 minors. The old chap I had as an examiner was ok I suppose… I had to do the turn in the road, and reverse corner… even though I doubt I’ll get a car for a while yet, insurance - arrrh!, I can still say that I can drive, and put it on job apps and such like, still deciding whether to do pass plus or not.
I’ve got tonight to virtually complete an IT unit, that I have no original files for because of the great computer incident of 2004, but, I’ll have to get it done nevertheless…
…anyway, I don’t really have much to say other than that… so… yea.
Well, as interesting nights may come and go, last night was one of them… to try to pass the time before, and after the infamous quazar match, I had a go on a games machine at AMF, along with Chris, and come the end, Myles, on a seemingly difficult Buffy Top Trumps game…. dont ask…. but come the end of it all, I had the highest score of 66,790 - about 50,000 higher than anyone else; and of course, I had to name it after my fav pers I mean, Disney show, Lizzy McGuire… And it seemed impossible for anyone else, even myself, to come close to that score again, let alone beat it as what was previously hoped for…
After all of that, and walking around the harbour… kinda… we headed back up, walking past the resturaunt, Hooks, we spotted some of the IT teachers from school, and aswell as having ‘Mrs. T’ become very excited about seeing us down there, I took a photo of them all, apparently not drunk…
Hmm, just now I also chose my final two universities…. something I’ve been putting off for a while, even though I knew which ones I would choose, I’ll just have to wait for conformation now I guess.
Three weeks on and the kittens are doing fine, the ginger one has seemed to learn to ‘walk’ first, still a bit wobbly on his feet, but he can go pretty quick when it wants milk hehe, the other two seem to be going at thier own pace.
…and for all that didn’t realise because they’ve been brain washed with election coverage, it was the 05/05/05 today…
Well, after the successful moving of Myles’ blog from MSN Spaces (thanks Mr. Guinea Pig), I decided to follow suit, and, with a couple hours of trying to install Word Press, sort out my FTP, and, change the template… this is what would seem to be the end result… As with my previous space, I still have a photo gallery of the latest snap shots that I’ve taken, and can be found by clicking the Gallery link on the right. You can also find this blog now, at, www.lloydengland.com/blog.
Onto other stuff, well, not much is happening… or is it? Going Quaser tonight with some friends… it’ll be fun, and could possibily be very interesting for one person… in a few hours we’ll see what comes of it all, and I’m sure you’ll all read it all in his own blog when the time comes…
