Well, exam season is in full heat, I’ve taken two exams and handed in two ICT units so far, and still I have a further three exams, and another two ICT units to hand in over the next couple of weeks. Also, even though I will be at school regularly over the next few weeks still, today was the day I decided to complete one of the tasks of my final departure from the school, which was, to empty my locker and bring all my stuff home, leaving just a few lone items inside, until they will inevitably go too…
Following a discussion the other day, it will soon be time to say goodbye to many people who I have known, worked with, became friends with over the past seven years which I have been attending the school for, but more so since joining sixth form, where I have made many great friendships with many people, and have become an increasingly active member within the school itself. The end of a big era of my life is hurtling towards me, and even though I’ll look forward to the future, there’s still a part of me who will miss what I currently have.
Along with that comes the possibility of leaving friends behind and never seeing them again. We all know it happens, its a fact of life almost that friends come and go, even with good intentions of keeping in contact, sometimes its just not meant to be… even though I’ll try, and hope I’ll keep in contact with a few people, and hopefully they all know who they are. I’ve managed to remain in regular contact with a friend, even now, two years since he left school, so I know it can happen, and there’s not always just a brick wall come the end of it all.
But, that’s not for a few weeks yet, and a few things will possibility be happening in between then… nothing in particular I should add…
Over the past few weeks mainly because of the work I’ve been doing, but also because of other things, I haven’t really been getting the full recommended ‘8hrs’ of sleep that we all apparently need. But, I’ve worked out now that I’m living my life more efficiently…. this is the 21st century… the world’s moving so fast, there’s no time for sleep… or at least, that’s a quote I made for the situation…
Onto some other news and the kittens are doing fine. Sorry for no photos yet, but I will take some soon! I may also be making a new website for a local company in the next few weeks, I’ll keep you peeled on that, and, my ‘interview’ with the online magazine should be published on their website, Fresh Angles, when it comes back online in the next few weeks after being renovated..
